Weekly Activities:
Reading- Fluency readings will be completed on Monday and Wednesday. The students will be taking these home for homework. They need to read the entire passage to someone. The passage must be signed to count as a completed homework assignment.
Timed Math- Homework will be sent home on Tuesday and Thursday. The students need to complete the top half for one minute and read the bottom half orally for three minutes. This also needs to be signed.
Spelling- The students are given a workbook and packet assignment to be completed for the week. It will be given on Monday morning and needs to be completed by Friday afternoon. If not completed by Friday, it will be sent home for homework. Please study the words with him. They are posted in their agenda.
Journal- We have a timed writing prompt every Tuesday and Thursday. They have 30 seconds to think and 3 minutes to write.
